Clara Paperbag Trousers

The Clara trousers are cut in a dense, opaque black cloth with a quiet matte hand. A ruffled paperbag waist rises with intention, then is held by a self-fabric belt and a single silver D-ring — the only metal on the garment. Soft front pleats fall into a straight, slightly tapered leg, finished with a turned cuff.

The pockets are set into the line, not added to it. The silhouette is composed: high at the waist, clean through the hip, unhurried at the hem. Nothing decorative. Nothing loud.

Worn with a fine ribbed knit, a silk shell, or a tucked poplin shirt. A leather slide by day. A slim heel after dusk.
